I am Shakil Huq. Welcome to my photography portfolio! .
I am a 4th-year medical student with a deep passion for travel photography, specializing in landscape, portrait, and drone photography. My fascination with capturing the beauty of different cultures and environments motivates me to explore new places, always seeking unique perspectives. During my travels, I rely on my trusted Canon EOS 350D camera, paired with a 50mm lens, to frame moments that tell stories beyond the visuals. Photography has become more than a hobby for me—it provides an artistic outlet that complements the demands of my medical studies, allowing me to express creativity while broadening my worldview.
In addition to my love for photography, I take pride in my Bangladeshi-American heritage, which is an integral part of who I am. I am proficient in the Adobe Premiere Suite, using tools like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects to enhance and edit my photos and videos. These skills help me bring my artistic vision to life, whether I am crafting a portrait or editing landscapes that capture a moment in time. My proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Publisher) also helps me stay organized and efficient in both my academic and creative work.
Alongside my technical skills, I have a passion for physical activities and martial arts. I hold a 5th Kyu Black Belt in Aikido, which has taught me discipline, focus, and resilience—qualities I carry into my medical career and daily life. I am also PADI certified for scuba diving, which fuels my adventurous side. Whether practicing martial arts or exploring underwater worlds, these activities provide balance to my demanding academic life, helping me stay centered and engaged in both personal and professional growth.
